Châu “Charlie” Văn Huỳnh was born on July 28, 1952, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Tân Nương Huỳnh and Gần Thị Nguyên. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of honor, devotion, and love.

Charlie’s greatest pride was his service to his country. He bravely served as a member of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces, fighting during the Vietnam War. His dedication, courage, and sacrifice remain a source of deep respect and admiration to all who knew him.

Above all accomplishments, nothing brought Charlie greater joy than marrying the love of his life, Yen Nguyen. Their marriage was a foundation of strength, companionship, and enduring love throughout his life.

Charlie is survived by his beloved wife, Yen Nguyen; his brothers, Huynh An Nguyen, Huynh Thanh Xuong, Huynh Thanh Xuan, Huynh Thanh Hue, Huynh Thanh Quang, and Luu Phillip Quyent, all of the United States; and his sisters, Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong and Huynh Thi Thanh Phung, both of the United States, and Huynh Thi Thanh Lan of Vietnam.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Martinez West Chapel at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
