Frances Gaytan peacefully passed away on December 16, 2025, at Midland Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Anyone who knew Frances knew her sense of humor. She was extremely funny, always joking, teasing, and finding ways to make others laugh — even in difficult moments. Her laughter was contagious, and she had a way of lifting spirits without even trying. At the same time, she was deeply caring and always put others before herself, making sure everyone around her was taken care of. Whether through a kind word, a meal, or simply showing up, Frances gave from her heart.
She is also survived by her loving mother, Cruz Garcia, and her siblings: Margaret Sadler, Brenda Bernal, Sandra Garza, Teresa Garcia, and Jimmy Garcia, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family that she loved dearly. She is also survived by her stepchildren and step-grandchildren, who loved her dearly.
Frances will be remembered not only for her kindness and resilience, but for her humor, her big heart, and the way she cared for everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family that will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Pallbearers will be Alex Muniz,Anthony Muniz,Ashton Muniz,Angel Gudino,Nick Mudd and Zach Rhymes
