Juan “Juanito” R. Rios was born on October 6, 2008, in Odessa, TX. He was a young man full of life. Juanito was a kid like no other. He had a big heart that matched his smile. A vibrant smile that would light up the room. Growing up he loved to be outside wanting to be like his older brothers playing football, basketball, video games, riding his 4-wheeler, and listen to music as loud as he could. He loved to visit his grandma and other family members along with helping his uncle with any mechanic work that he could. He always gave the biggest hugs when visiting family.

Juan is survived by his parents Felipe Rios and Sonia Sotelo. His brother Luis F. Rios and wife Janna Rios, brother Alexis J. Rios (Diana Rosas), sister Alexa I. Rios, brother Alan M. Rios, niece Everlee Soline Baeza Rios, and nephew Mateo Rios.

Juan is being welcomed with open arms in the gates of heaven by his maternal grandparents Alejandra and Mauro Sotelo, Sister Yaretzi Iris Rios and paternal grandmother Margarita Renteria Rios.

Public Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 12:00pm to 9:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm, Pastor Joe Donaldson will be officiating at Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory – West, 10137 W. University Blvd., Odessa, Texas 79764

Funeral Service will take place on April 2, 2025, at 9:30am at Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory – West. 

Father Joseph Uecker will be officiating.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX 79762.
