Obituary

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martin Arevalo Valdez, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 41. Martin was born on February 2, 1984, and was originally from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, a place he always carried in his heart.

Martin was truly unforgettable. He was charismatic, spontaneous, outgoing, and fearless, with a presence that naturally drew people to him. He was the life of the party, always bringing laughter, energy, and light wherever he went. Adventurous and determined, Martin lived life boldly and without fear.

He had a deep love for animals and the outdoors, finding peace and joy in nature. He was also musically inclined and artistic, expressing himself creatively and passionately. Martin lived with freedom, authenticity, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.

He is now reunited with his beloved mother, Maria Selma Arevalo, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, Martin Valdez; his beloved daughter, Victoria Valdez, who was the greatest love of his life; his sisters, Betsy Valdez and Brandy Valdez; and his cherished niece, Sol Chavez, whom he adored deeply.

Martin’s presence was powerful and full of love, and his passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the memories we shared and for the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at Funeraria del Valle 2 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua.

Friday, January 23, visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 24, viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Mass will follow at 3:00 p.m. at La Divina Providencia.

Con profundo dolor y el corazón lleno de tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Martin Arevalo Valdez, quien partió de este mundo el 13 de enero de 2026, a la edad de 41 años. Martin nació el 2 de febrero de 1984 y fue originario de Ojinaga, Chihuahua, lugar que siempre llevó en su corazón.

Martin fue una persona verdaderamente inolvidable. Carismático, espontáneo, extrovertido y valiente, tenía una energía única que atraía a todos a su alrededor. Era el alma de la fiesta, siempre lleno de alegría, risas y luz. Aventurero y decidido, vivió la vida con intensidad y sin miedo.

Amaba profundamente a los animales y la naturaleza, encontrando en el aire libre paz y felicidad. También era musical y artístico, usando su creatividad como una forma de expresarse y conectar con los demás. Martin vivió con libertad, autenticidad y un espíritu indomable que jamás será olvidado.

Le sobreviven su padre, Martin Valdez; su amada hija, Victoria Valdez, quien fue el gran amor de su vida; sus hermanas, Betsy Valdez y Brandy Valdez; y su querida sobrina, Sol Chávez, a quien adoraba profundamente.

La presencia de Martin fue intensa y llena de amor; su partida deja un vacío imposible de llenar. Aunque el dolor es grande, agradecemos profundamente los momentos compartidos y los recuerdos que vivirán por siempre en quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo.
